One aspect of online marketing that every producer knows about is how tedious it can be when messaging artists. Whether you’re messaging artists on Facebook, Twitter, email or through text, most of the time you’re probably saying the same thing over and over again.
What if you can make this process a bit faster and easier? If you have an iPhone, I found a trick. I’m going to show you how to create a shortcut on your keyboard so that you can don’t have to type the same thing repeatedly .
For example, you can type something like “M1” and the message will say “Hey bro, I see you do music. How long u been rappin?”.
Here’s how it works:
1. Go to your settings on your iPhone, scroll down and tap on “Keyboard”
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on “Add New Shortcut…”
3. Now just type your phrase and shortcut text. I like to keep it short like “m1”
4. Next time you open any app to message an artist, just type in your shortcut and your message will appear.
Of course, the next logical step is to create more shortcuts. You can create as many as you want! I’m not sure how to create a shortcut on any other device but I’d suggest googling it to find out so that you can use this same technique.
