Airbit Producers Help Rod Wave Become the Biggest Artist-Songwriter in the US, with Ten Certifications
The National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) announced the top songwriters for Q1 2021, including the top artist-songwriter and top non-performing songwriter for the period, per Music Business Worldwide.
During the first three months of the year, 1,228 Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications were awarded.
Rod Wave was the top artist-songwriter overall with 10 certifications, including Rags2Riches on the album Pray 4 Love reaching double Multi-Platinum status. Airbit producers that worked on Pray 4 Love include Tre Gilliam, Drum Dummie, TnTXD, and RellyMade.
Most recently, Tre Gilliam, Drum Dummie and TnTXD had placements on the album Soulfly, which hit number one, with six songs on the charts.
